Through the years, I think FutureDerm readers have come to know that MDSUN are some of the best products out there, in my opinion. I’ve called the brand everything from “Skinceuticals on Steroids” to “Luxe like LaMer — Except with AMAZING Effects From Day One,” problematic issues.

Daily cleansing and moisturizing are important to achieve that ever desirable, naturally glowing skin. However, there are other steps and skin care practices that need to be included in your routine to gain the best possible results. Exfoliating the skin is one of these treatments that can be extremely beneficial, but if done the wrong way can be detrimental to your progress. Exfoliating can also be done too often, resulting in negative effects on the skin.

I’ve only been using them for about a week, I really don’t see how these have 20 percent glycolic acid in them. I’ve used other exfoliating wipes before with glycolic acid and I always had instant results and I would get a tingling sensation when applying. And they were at lower concentrations and percentages. Last ones i used were 10 percent. There is no tingling at with these, not even in the slightest, and with being a higher percentage supposedly, you would think there would be. Also I’m not getting the oily skin 20 or so minutes after application like I have with other pads as well. Either there is no glycolic acid in these or it’s old and not active anymore, but they aren’t expired so that wouldnt really make sense. So far I’m disappointed since I’ve had no improvement so far with the texture of my skin. I’m used to exfoliating pads having immediate results for me and this is the first time I have not. I can still feel all the sebaceous filaments on my chin and neck which have always disappeared after one use for me with other pads. Maybe these just take longer to take effect, but with such a high percentage of acids I thought they would work way better than others I have used in the past. Also it doesn’t list any kind of fragrance but yet it smells like roses, which I do not like. So I won’t be repurchasing unless some miracle seems to happen over the next 3 weeks.

This product has truly made a huge difference in my skin condition over the past year. It’s by far the most impactful part of my skin care regimen. I have super sensitive acne skin, and this is the only product that I can use without pain and redness. It’s gentle and effective. They clear away the dead cells and smooth out the skin, my face feels invigorated after each use. I am IN LOVE with these pads and I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family!
